Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service has partnered with DocuPet to provide an enhanced pet licensing experience with many new benefits for Spokane County residents. DocuPet specializes in creating engaging licensing and membership programs for pet owners across North America.
The Fine Print
Before we can focus on the benefits, we need to start with the facts. Annual pet licenses are required in nearly every city and town across North America. Pet licensing plays an important role in our ability to ensure a safe community for our citizens and their pets.
A license allows animal services to reunite you with your lost pet. Revenue from licensing funds care for our community’s homeless, abandoned, abused, and neglected companion animals.
There's no ifs ands or buts about it, licenses are required for all pets living in Spokane County. They must be renewed every year prior to the expiration date (don't worry, we'll remind you!).
The senior citizen's discount is applicable for your first spayed/neutered pet only. Any additional pets fall under the regular rate.
Please note that Spokane County's licensing program operates on a 365-day monthly cycle. This means that all licenses expire exactly 365 days from the date of original purchase.
